Verify Installation

Open SlingSight from the Start Menu. Check the system tray (bottom right corner) for the active icon.

Expected Output Installation complete. SlingSight has been moved to /Applications.

Troubleshooting Ensure you have an active internet connection. If curl fails with SSL errors, ensure your CA certificates are up to date.

Permissions Required

Accessibility & Screen Recording

macOS requires explicit permission for tracking software. On first launch, Gatekeeper will ask you to open System Settings > Privacy & Security to enable 'Accessibility' and 'Screen Recording'.

Verify Installation

Launch SlingSight from Mission Control or Spotlight. Verify the icon is active in your macOS menu bar.

Troubleshooting If wget is not found, install it first: 'sudo apt install wget'. If the script fails, ensure your package manager is not locked by another process.
